This is a tutorial that teaches you about a simple, free, frame-by-frame animation program, EasyToon. The tutorial is made by Rogier Henkelman, ~AkiraShimada.

THIS TUTORIAL IS A 4-PAGE .PDF FILE, DOWNLOAD TO VIEW!

PDF files need Adobe Acrobat Reader on Windows, but can be viewed in Apple Preview on Mac OS X.

I highly recommend this program to all beginning animators, as it is very simple, easy-to-learn, and a great way to practise animation.

EasyToon is a Windows program, and can be downloaded here: www.superfundungeonrun.com/easytoon/

It can be run on Mac OS X using Darwine, which is to be downloaded here: darwine.opendarwin.org/

If you've downloaded DarWine from [link] and installed it (unfortunately you need X11 to run it), you can open .exe files and Darwine automatically starts. Do you have a PPC or Intel Mac?

yea, what's the diff between PPC and intel?
I have a PPC and I've installed darwine and X11 but whenever I try to open an .EXE, it says that I am missing a truefont library or something... I've googled truefont and all I see it things for linux and no mac .dmg files ;_;

Well, PPC and Intel simply have different chipsets. Intel Macs have Rosetta installed which enables you to run PPC programs, but not Classic.
Yeah, I get that message too, but for some reason it stays at that message and it runs anyway.
Does Darwine work on PPC?

ive used easytoon for a while. Its a great program.

Btw the easytoon u use is a fake version a guy made.

Go to [link] and choose the english flag at top for english version its a better and more official version of the program
